Wow. Its after midnight and I am wide awake. I usually go to bed soon after getting home from work...I've been home for about two hours now. Probably the coffee I got at the gas station prior to the trip home to keep from falling asleep before reaching Siloam. After exhausting my knowledge of websites to go to, I decided I would write a new blog entry. There for a while I blogged pretty regularly, and even since then I've attempted a few restarts of the ol blog. I'm not great with following through though. This will probably be no different. But hey, it passes the time. A few things of note:
1. I recently bought an Ipod. I long resisted due to the steep price and not wanting to be seen as a pretentious Apple user. It was well worth it though. The sound is amazing. And it passes the time at work. And I have been getting some hints that my co-workers are not crazy about my listening to sports talk on the clock radio all the time.
2. I need some new songs for the Ipod. Its like I have loaded a depression mix tape on it. Lucero, Jim Croce, Iron & Wine, various old sad country songs, after the first half dozen songs I wanted to climb in a waterbed and cry for 45 minutes.
3. I got my truck back today. It has been at the auto-shop since Friday. I love my truck and am glad to be driving it again. Next February will make 10 years that I have had it.
4. I've decided I will never spank Duncan. Meghan doesn't think this decision will last. We'll see.
5. I'll try to come up with some topics for future blogs this week. That's all for now. See you later Alligators.

Pineville, Missourri, Here we come!
Our 1st camping trip of the year will kick off tommorow night. And possibly my first canoing trip ever. Two nights away from our jobs, school, and most importantly, our dogs. I love it.

Belvis
Last weekend Meghan's parents went out of town to visit Adam and Jessica, and we got to house-sit for four days. We had to take care of a half dozen crazy dogs (their four + Buck and Loretta) and feed the dozens of chickens and pick up their eggs. This was all very worth it, though. Why you ask? They have cable. I watched baseball games, I watched basketball games, drug court, american gladiators, some history channel, and even the Office on Thursday night. But the best part, by far, was a new show on CMT called, "Can you Duet?". It's the same premise as American Idol, but the contestants are all duets and country singers. I watched a two hour marathon of this. One of the duets was a 20-ish redneck guy from Kentucky with long thick hair and a bandanna and his cousin "Belvis" a 30-ish bald guy who had taken him under his wing. Wow, I thought what a name! Belvis. That is a name for the male heir to the Walton name right there. I love that name. Anyhow, the judges end up letting Belvis's cousin move to the next round, but tell Belvis he didn't really have any talent. I was pretty bummed for Belvis. So, anyone with cable, you have to check this show out. And, if you're like me and a Belvis fan, you can offer him your condolences here. Yes, that's right, Belvis has a myspace.

I have a birthday coming up so naturally I have been thinking about that subject. I am really feeling weird about it this year. 26 years? wooooo. I am now closer to being 30 than to being in college again. My parents are FIFTY years old. In ten years my parents will be 60. 60! I always figured my self as being a bit more successful in the world by this age. Like owning a home maybe or something. Or having a career. Although, I do have a good job now. But come on, I still drive the same truck I did eight years ago. I still wear the same clothes from high school. I feel like the Justin Bateman character from Juno. Its weird.
Anyone going to Springfest? I want to see this guy.
My dog craps more than you could ever imagine. And most of the time it's in the house. This has got to stop. Other than that, he is awesome. He likes to chase his tail, nip the buds off of flowers, chew up shoes, and sit in the sunshine.
Does anyone know how old George Harrison was when the Beatles broke up? He was 26.

Hey! I found my 1st blog! It was in the drafts folder.
***Blogger's Note: Most of this I reposted the next day, but here is the original.
Hola Amigos! I have returned. For how long or of what quality of blogs I will make, that is anybody's guess. I will not attempt to catch everyone up with the last year of my life that has not been blogged about. I will start from today and move forward as if I never stopped blogging in the first place. Because that is how I handle my problems, I ignore them and just keep on going as if they were not there. (I would not recommend this approach when dealing with creditors, collection agencies, or the Washington County Library, as I have discovered.) So with out further ado....
Things going on in my life currently:
1. Camping. Not that I have been doing any, but that I want to be. Between my two week-ends a month spent at Rockline and Meghan having to work in the nursery every other Sunday, we hae had no camping trips thus far this year. And in May I will start my new schedule of being off on Thursday and Friday and working every Saturday and Sunday for a month. So hopefully we can pull of an awesome camping trip to the Elk for my birthday. That segues us into point number two.
2. Birthdays. For the last couple of months I have been feeling kinda depressed about aging. I've never been the least concerned in the past. But Its been on my mind a lot lately. I'll be 26 soon. I'm closer to being 30 than to being back in college again. My parents are 50! Crazy, no? In 10 years my parents will be 60!
3. I really want to see this guy . Anyone going to Springfest this year?
4. I am going to try to start learning sign language.

Copied and pasted from myspace
Hello friends and neighbors. I have decided that I will give up myspace. I haven't actually done that much on here lately. Usually just log in see nothing has changed and log back off. So it won't be that much of a change for me. I have turned over a new leaf and part of that includes giving up the myspace. I do plan on now actually using my blog. I hope to write in it at least once a week. For those of you who have forgotten it is www.idontcareforthat.blogspot.com
For any of you worried that you will not be able to correspond with me, have no fears. Part of my reasoning behind giving up myspace is that I am going to start writing letters. Few things give me more joy than getting a letter or a card in the mail that someone has took the time to write to me. Very rarely do I ever get those anymore. Very rarely do I, or much anyone else, send those. So, as of today I am going on a campaign to write letters. So, if you would like to help with this project of bringing back the lost art of using the postal system, I would appreciate it. You can either send me an email at mr_walton01@hotmail.com or drop by my blog and leave your address there.
